Amateur Landscape Photographer based in Israel
My hobby of landscape photography has brought me to beautiful destinations to capture the outdoors. I purchased my first camera about five years ago after travelling quite often to New England and spending my weekends visiting some of the many waterfalls in the area. Like everyone else, I used my cell phone to document the scenery, but found that it did not reflect the full potential of the landscape.
The learning process included acknowledging the importance of postprocessing in the workflow. As I am colorblind, this was a huge obstacle for me. It took me over a year to overcome and embrace this challenge. With a lot of help from my close family, I battle with each photo to reflect all the tones nature deserves. At the end of the process, I am super happy when the colors work both for me and others.
As part of my photography journey, I am pleased to share some of my work with you.
